The most beautiful final in my life ever just happened in tier 2.
Situation: the opponent has 4 units on the board, which together give flying and 3 health. I have a spell and a unit with 3 attack in my hand. I'm counting on a miracle, so I place the unit and use the spell on one of the opponent's 2/2 minions, hoping that it won't deal 2 damage before flying is activated. It thought for a very long time. Then it attacked with two big minions. Then it thought even more. It decided to trade both 2/2 minions for my 3/4. It traded one. It thought. It traded the other. That one suicided. In desperation, it plays Oil Thief. Of course, it doesn't draw anything good. The guy scratches his head and eventually concedes.
Come on. Following that logic, he could have avoided the confrontation altogether; maybe the guy on the other side is just as hesitant and wouldn't have attacked...
Today, I logged into Ranked for the first time in a month and a half. There were two daily quests for runes, so I took my old reliable Dasha deck without Wild cards. The result was 4-2; I lost to two rune decks – another Dasha and a neutral deck. Not bad, it's playable. Also, I've gotten three Legendaries in the current expansion – two Alices and one Cinderella, so I think I know which deck I'll be testing next.
