The upgrade in the Tower in Heroes of Might and Magic 5 and level 4 doesn't work properly. The level 5 spells don't change during the upgrade, and only one level 4 spell changes.

A few fixes:
- shift+click on the pier Mage Guild might not have been working.
- fixed rebuilding in the Tower: now, both with and without a library, the same number of spells are changed (as in other towns). That is, added spells are not replaced when there is a library.

That's strange. I couldn't connect with one opponent, but I could connect with another. I have no idea what the problem is...

Maybe the issue is that both need to be updated? :rolleyes:

We both updated, and we both removed HWRules from the plugins, leaving only HotA v1.38+, but it still won't let us join the created game, displaying a message as if one of us doesn't have this plugin.

The plugin's name and version number didn't change after the tower fix. If you downloaded it before the re-upload, you have an outdated version with a messed-up tower upgrade, and it won't connect with the updated one. The current installer weighs 493559 bytes. Added 12 minutes later

I don't know, I didn't delve into the code. Vik asked me if I could unlock the HotA tower upgrade. Instead of answering, I took the HotA Rules 1.37 source code I had and quickly patched it in 10 minutes. I spent another 10 minutes testing to see if everything worked. The report about the tower upgrade not working properly made it clear that the upgrade in 1.37 didn't work the same way as in 1.38. I looked at the code again, found a bug, and fixed it as I saw fit, quickly, without really understanding how it works in HotA Rules 1.38. If you have any comments, suggestions, or anything else, please write. I will try to delve deeper into the code and maybe fix something else.

You need to extract the mod from the HW mod folder; you have to go through several folders to get to HW_rules_1.38; SD mod doesn't open nested folders.

Try checking if the rebuild works in single-player mode.
