I started playing the first Neverwinter Nights not so long ago. Another character with the name of my favorite book hero. By the way, I made the portrait from a picture of a Star Wars character – Jace Solo (the son of Han Solo and Leia Organa, in case anyone doesn't know).

Although I liked the first NWN (unlike the second), it still seemed somewhat... boring compared to Baldur's Gate. Some situations were amusing.
I brought Aribeth the diary of an agent of the cult, which indicates their location, and she says: "lol! It's nonsense! Find another piece of evidence that they are there, and then I will believe you!" (not verbatim, but the meaning is the same).
And here, there are truly wide possibilities for roleplaying. In one forest, an orc attacks me, and then he surrenders. He says that if I spare him, he will pay me with gold. I am playing a chaotic good character, and here are two answer options (there are no others):
- Give me the gold and get out of here before I change my mind!
- I think I’ll just kill you and take your things!
Two days ago, I downloaded The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion; I wanted to play it a bit. As before, I believe that without fan-made modifications, it is practically unplayable (it is interesting that any
well-made fan mod is much better quality than everything standard).
Using FaceGen, I imported the face of one of the old characters:

The race is different from the character on the first page.
As before, the advantages include pleasant surroundings (grass, water, snow, trees, sky, etc.), music (non-combat; at the top), and some freedom. I also like the character progression here (except for auto-leveling, of course).
The disadvantages include a simply terrible character editor, which not only makes customizing the character quite problematic but also means that all NPCs around are ugly and none of them have memorable faces (quest NPCs are no exception). I think everyone knows about the boring main quest. Short dialogues and even shorter answers. I don't consider fast travel a disadvantage because its use can be said to be optional. When I played last time, I used it only two or three times.
Maybe I forgot something. However, everything else consists of various minor details.
