What are you willing to do for a friend or loved one?

P.S. Please answer the question directly or simply pass by.

As I recently checked, for the sake of my beloved, I am ready to try and help her improve her relationship with the person she loves. Even if it's not me. Although, life is a strange thing. Do I love her, and does she love me? I will probably be able to answer that in about 20 years. But for now, an interesting ending has unfolded, and we will just continue to live.

Understand, forgive, and set limits for yourself.

Ara, don't get angry. I don't know what I'm willing to do. Let's say this: I can harm myself so that the person I love avoids less/the same/more harm, but if it's less, then it's of the same order, because I'm not willing to sacrifice my life just so that he/she doesn't cut their finger. I think this best describes reality.

That's an interesting question... I can't give a definitive answer.

It depends on the situation and the woman in question...

And who can give a definitive answer to that? You won't know until you experience it yourself.

I don't know, there's no one here, so I can't judge. But if you really love this person, you'll do anything for them.

Wow, that's harsh! Well, I'll answer directly then.
I used to be friends with a guy, back in school, I considered him my best friend, we communicated for over 10 years, I tried to support him as much as I could, when he was drafted into the army, I visited him with gifts, I was sure that I was ready to give my life for him if necessary.
The result: he treated me with contempt and constantly compared his achievements with mine (to his advantage, of course), and also borrowed money from me and didn't return it. At some point, he stopped communicating with me and inviting me to parties.
I was also in love with a girl once, well, that's obvious, I thought I was ready to do anything for her.
The result: in a conversation with me, she told me about a guy who had been in her friend zone for 5-6 years (it wasn't me, honestly) and that he had finally gotten out of her friend zone and now he's just a horny pig who only wanted one thing all along. And almost immediately after that, she told me about another guy who lied to her about not having a wife, children, or even his own name. Now she knows the truth and that he only needs her as a mistress when he's on business trips, but she doesn't mind, because he's cool. After that story, the love just faded away.

You're such a noob.

because it's awesome

CLASSIC.

In this case, "cool" doesn't even refer to having fun together or sharing common interests; it's simply that when she's near him, her knees get weak and she feels all flustered.

I guess I haven't met a person for whom I would be willing to do absolutely everything. But in general, yes, I'm ready to help, sacrifice my comfort, lend something, but I wouldn't give away my last shirt.

In this case, "cool" doesn't mean they enjoy spending time together or have common interests; it simply means that when she's around him, her knees weaken, and she feels all giddy.

This is love; you don't understand.
