The main reason why Oblivion is better than Skyrim is precisely its setting. Colorful and diverse locations are better than just white, gray, and occasionally green.

About the variety – it’s quite amusing. The towns only differed from each other, and only half of them were actually good.

Well, in this regard, games like this series generally have a problem, because the approach of "two houses here, three trees there" doesn't really contribute to building very interesting worlds.

At the beginning, it's quite good there; running along the beach is nice, there are a couple of towns, and the rest of the time you're exploring forests and ruins/caves.

There's a great add-on there, with an unusual location and a fun storyline, a number of decent side quests, and some good branches for thieves with the Dark Brotherhood. Otherwise, I agree with Arzus.

Well, the add-on does have an unusual setting. And Brotherhood surprised me in some places too.

You put the parenthesis for the emoticon in the wrong direction and forgot to use an exclamation mark.
