I'm feeling so nostalgic right now! The memories of my favorite computer game, Gothic II, are really hitting me hard. I don't even know what to do with this feeling, and I can't even play it right now – my Windows installation is messed up, so I can only use my mobile device to browse the internet. I'm feeling so nostalgic that I decided to write about it in this section.
To make this thread a bit more meaningful, here's a question: what games do you constantly feel nostalgic about, or what games are you feeling nostalgic about right now? Ideally, with some explanations (not like I did :) ).

Soldier of Fortune, an awesome action game. W40k: DoW, specifically for local multiplayer. We were such noobs, but we had so much fun! Dota, I haven't played it in a while, but I kind of want to, but... it's a hassle. "Lemmings," it just doesn't work anymore. Original War, not the most well-known, but a truly masterful game. I should install it again in the coming days. I replayed the second System Shock half a year ago. Maybe I'll remember something else over time.

Oh, I really miss the times when you'd go to an internet cafe, and the guys there would say:
- Hey, let's play some Red Alert 2 (the game just came out, it's brand new!) and the whole cafe would play it over the network!
And then you'd go to a friend's house and play a good old Heroes of Might and Magic game through Hotseat...

There are a ton of console games for Dendy and Sega; it's too much to list.

Surprisingly, perhaps, it's WoW – we used to run around in a group of three and conquer the entire server(!), but nothing worked... But what fun it was! :) And now there are many players, and everything works – but the fun is gone :(
Also, probably Pharaoh, an old game that's similar to Caesar 3. But again, you can't recapture that feeling...
And Age of Empires 2...
And a little bit of Heroes of Might and Magic III :)

But most of all, I miss the old forum; yes, I'm getting old, but back then we communicated, and didn't just engage in pointless chatter. That's not the same thing :-/

To be honest, I still play good games now :) like Red Alert 2, Diablo 2, Fallout 2, Heavy Metal 2... :) Heroes and Disciples.
There's no nostalgia... except maybe the darkness used to be darker and the ice cream tasted better...

But games are not "just games." Life itself is nothing more than a game. Don't be sad, comrade, keep playing what you want! For the sake of the USSR!
And by the way, I don't think there's any progress; on the contrary, there's a decline. It's really sad... it gets worse and worse every day.
But it's so sad when this game is coming to an end... considering the fact that no one has promised a restart yet...

No one promised any remakes, that's for sure;). Yes, indeed, in the name of the Soviet Union!
