I really like the band Lumen. However, among the "nonconformists," there's an opinion that the band's music is "trashy, pop, and generally awful."
Have you heard that?

Don't know, it's okay, but not great, I'd give it a three.

Good band, I listen to them from time to time. A long time ago, a friend introduced me to Lumen ;)

Well, it's not mandatory :) Just in case Kobzon is singing there! =-O Although, no... I already checked online – it's some guy named Jay Lumen.

I came across Lumen's disc... I downloaded all the albums (except for 3 songs because of a glitch... well, Lok might share them later), but I haven't listened to them yet... except for the ones Lok shared before, and I liked "Friends" and "Cosmonaut" from those... the first one is calm and has good lyrics, and the second one is punk and fun :)
When I have time, I'll listen to the rest... maybe I'll like something else too.

Vis, people probably consider them a pop group because many people listen to them (but not real rockers, but those who listen to a lot of different music), maybe that's why they say it's pop... and maybe it's because of the music (the ease of playing their songs)... or maybe most people listen to foreign bands and don't care, and among those who listen to Russian rock, most listen to metal and so on (and mostly older bands), so for them, this is nothing special... there are many versions...

I don't really like it, as I'm not a fan of this kind of music. However, I must admit that they play very well within their style.

I'd rather not say... I don't like such unserious music...

I haven't listened to much, but what I heard, I liked. :) I'll note the song "Nebesa" for myself :smile04: (although I have all the albums on my hard drive, I need to find some time to listen to them:))

If there is no "Post" prefix and the music is harmonious, accurate, and beautiful, then it is not music at all.

Great band, I liked both the music and the lyrics. I listen to them often now; they appeared on my playlist quite recently, but they've already earned my appreciation (although, anything that doesn't deserve my respect is immediately removed).
As for the fact that some people consider it "rubbish and pop music," that's a matter of taste (that's what "rubbish" is all about), and I personally don't consider Lumen to be pop music...
