Posts from Recently, I've been experiencing some glitches with the game.

Basically, I've had Heroes 5 and all its parts installed on my computer for a very long time. I would occasionally play them because I don't have much time. But recently, I had a week off and decided to play the campaign. Everything seemed fine, but some strange graphical glitches started appearing, like stripes on the screen, and sometimes the whole screen would turn an odd color. When I rotated the camera and tried to focus on these stripes, the screen would start flickering, etc. I'm not very knowledgeable about hardware or anything like that, but it seems like it's either a problem with the driver, DirectX, or something else, but I'm sure it wasn't like this before! And when I decided to play a single-player map, it got even worse. The computer would just freeze after a battle or simply fail to load the save file. I've already reinstalled Heroes, DirectX, and the drivers. I downloaded DirectX from the official ATI Radeon website, where I also found the drivers for the video card. I even tried installing older drivers for the video card, but it still didn't help. :((
Maybe there's already a patch that fixes this for me now... Tribes of the East, version 3.0.
If anyone knows the reason, please let me know.

Do only the Heroes games have glitches, or do other games as well?

Yeah! But... well, I don't play that much... but I have a couple of other games where everything is fine... I remember having a similar problem with C&C Generals... everything was flickering there too... but then I somehow reinstalled it, and everything was fine...

And I don't think I wrote that my games are glitching! I actually wrote the opposite, that all the other games don't glitch!

What are your system specs? Do they meet the minimum requirements for the game? I'm primarily interested in your graphics card model. Try lowering the graphics settings to the minimum and see if that improves performance.

Oh my god... is this some kind of joke?!))) I think I explained everything clearly enough in the first post... and it's obvious that I used to play regularly and everything was fine, and then the problem started! Maybe that means my computer is good enough for them....! My graphics card is an Ati Radeon x1950xt...... This is definitely an external problem, not a hardware issue! I think it's a DirectX issue... (but that's just my guess) because I first thought it was the graphics card drivers, and I changed them 4 times, but it was still the same... and I only installed a new GeForce driver... and I can't install the old ones... I have the one that was released on August 8th installed now... (in other words, the latest one, as far as I know)... or maybe I have a corrupted version? But if that were the case, you would have said it first... I searched for any patch for Tribes of the East, but I couldn't find one...

The thing is, the other games don't have these issues (even with higher requirements than Heroes)... and it definitely isn't related to DirectX, right?... Moreover, it's not just glitches; there are also lags, like complete freezes. That's why I thought about some kind of system error....

And how can I check the graphics card's temperature? Because I'm starting to suspect that too, since these lags are gradually increasing from the moment the game starts.
