Text-based RPGs, and therefore Heroes. Games that don't interfere with or slow down the internet.

Uh... I usually play all the notable games, although there are exceptions. I've never played any of the Command & Conquer games, starting with the second installment. I remember playing Tiberian Sun a long time ago, but I love Red Alert. World in Conflict also passed me by, unfortunately, and I still haven't bought Sam & Max, as other games keep coming out. But I'll definitely get Sam & Max; it's a mega-quest. I doubt I'll miss out on any more or less notable RPGs or good Diablo-clones (Hellgate, Titan Quest, Legends, Sacred) because they're replayable, so when there's nothing interesting, I replay them. Right now, I'm playing The Witcher and Oblivion again. What else... I often go back to Crusader Kings, but also to Heroes, and Disciples. As for action games, I'm not sure; I usually play through them once and rarely go back. COD4 and Kane & Lynch are better in this genre, in my opinion. Although I do replay some, like Half-Life, and I still actively play Portal; luckily, there are always interesting maps for it. What else... Civilization, Warhammer, StarCraft, Warcraft, Sins of a Solar Empire (I don't mind switching to English for such a game), SimCity 4. But in general, I prefer playing new games rather than replaying old ones, although this doesn't apply to strategy games.

I would personally go back to RPGs. That's pretty good!

Yes, you can play all the games! There are too many to list!

RPGs are the most popular because they satisfy a large portion of gamers; I also like RPGs, but there are different types of RPGs. There are epic RPGs like Mass Effect (you have to kneel and tremble!), and to some extent, Final Fantasy. There are Diablo clones, there are action/RPGs like Oblivion and Fable, and there are cRPGs (computer RPGs), a rare and my favorite type of RPG (after all, I'm a PK player!). A prime example is The Witcher. Games of this genre are characterized by an abundance of text, menus, and a focus on PK-style controls. Since all RPGs now are either multi-platform or console games, it's a rare genre. In general, PC games are moving towards PK-style games; the top 5 games are still games from 2004: WoW, The Sims. The PC is turning into a platform for MMORPGs, although I don't think games will stop being ported to PC. But after the failure of Crysis, you can forget about PC exclusives.

These RPGs are moderately popular, and even if I stop playing them, I'll still come back to them! Definitely! But strategies seem better to me compared to RPGs ;) = ;) Both are good!:D They didn't need to be compared! The answer was obvious:D

Seriously? How can you even compare a strategy game to an RPG? Are you saying that The Witcher is worse than that awful game, Against Rome? Maybe you don't know that game, but I can assure you that The Witcher is, to put it mildly, better. Or are you saying that Heroes is worse than Magic: The Gathering? Absolutely not... You can't compare entire genres of games, and it's generally difficult to compare games of different genres.

Action games!!! And turn-based strategy!
If the game is good, I'll play it, but I prefer RPGs, action games, and strategy games. Right now, I'm waiting for Mass Effect, a mix of a shooter and an RPG, but since the release is still 2 months away, I'm using that time to learn Flash. This ActionScript is so stupid!!!!!!! Or maybe I'm just not that smart...
