THIRD OFFLINE HEROES 1 TOURNAMENT "LAND O PLENTY"

TOURNAMENT RULES

1. To participate in the third offline Heroes 1 tournament "LAND O PLENTY", you must register on our website www.heroesworld.ru, and also submit an application in this thread.

P.S. This tournament is held as part of the general Cunningham Memorial Tournament, so all information, as well as the conduct and results, will be displayed in this section.


2. The tournament will be held on the Russian version of Heroes 1 from Buky. The save will be generated on the Russian version 1.1.

3. The goal of the game is to defeat the enemy.
The submitted save must contain the tournament number (3), the participant number in the application table, the abbreviation (LOP - LAND O PLENTY), and the player's nickname.

Example:

3_1_LOP_VDV_forever.GM1
3_2_LOP_AlexeyPank.GM1

4. The result will be evaluated primarily based on the shortest time.
If several players have the same completion time, the best will be determined by the sum of primary skills (attack, defense, magic, knowledge) INCLUDING WORN ARTIFACTS; if a favorite still cannot be determined, then by the amount of mercury.

5. Along with the submitted save, be sure to provide a description of the last step (battle with a hero, battle for a castle, capturing an artifact, defeating the last monster) after which the victory or completion of the scenario occurs.

6. The submitted save may have several heroes. The parameters will be counted for the strongest.

7. It is forbidden: to buy back your dismissed heroes on the same day (i.e., to use the "dismissal-buyback" trick);
it is also forbidden to buy back heroes who died in battle (do not confuse with those who fled)!

8. It is forbidden: to use a redeemed, fleeing, or bought-back hero in the battle on the day he fled or was bought back. It is allowed to buy such a hero, but he can only be used in battle on the next day;

9.It is forbidden: to dig up the Grail without fully revealing the puzzle map.

10. It is forbidden: to use cheat programs, codes, and additional programs that can change the game structure.

12. In case of suspicion of a player cheating, or other malicious intent during the map completion, it is necessary to make a save every game day.
In this case (detection of cheating), the player will be required to send additional saves, as well as provide a description of the gameplay, to determine whether the game was fair or not, to the tournament organizer.
The result of a player who played unfairly will be canceled, and their further participation in tournaments will be impossible. This will also affect their reputation, not in a good way.

13. Open discussion of the tournament on the forum during its course is PROHIBITED!!!
(Players who violate this rule will automatically be disqualified, their results will not be counted and will be canceled).

14. The tournament starts on July 1 and will last until July 31 (inclusive!). The results will be announced on August 1-3, 2007.

15. After receiving your save, you will see in the application table that:

the save has been accepted - indicated by a bold nickname.
the save has been counted - indicated by an italicized - bold nickname.

This list may be supplemented with new participants!

Saves will be considered only from those players who are in this table, so submit your applications in ADVANCE!!!

1. Download the save.

2. The downloaded save must be placed in the GAMES folder of your installed Heroes 1.

3. Load it and start playing at any time that is convenient for you, while remembering to make daily saves.

4. After reaching the last action (after which the victory occurs), you must save again.

5. With the final save, describe this last step in detail (most likely the battle), so that the results can be determined more quickly and there will be less suspicion of cheating!!!

6. A complete description of the tournament map is encouraged (not required). If there are any, a contest will be held for the best description, 10 of which (the best) will take their place of honor in the "Feats of Our Best Heroes" section!

7. Send this save to the specified address (in the rules of this tournament).

8. Wait for the results to be announced.

Another question. Is it possible to split units into multiple stacks?

Play on the Platinum edition. Or on whichever version you have. It should work, as long as it's not too pirated.
And in the first game, you can split up troops by using the Shift key. However, you can't have two groups of the same unit in a single hero's army – they will merge.
