Hello, I doubt anyone remembers me anymore, although I "annoyed" many. But that's not the point...
I haven't been on the forum for about a month (during this time, I learned many intricacies of the game, wrote my thesis, etc.). I came back to take a look and... everything is the same as before. People are still stuck in the mud.
-Newcomers, without even reading the forum, create topics like "Which monster is the best in the castle?" and our valiant administration waits for about five people to write something like, "There's already a topic about this, here's the link..."
-Everyone tries to show off in every possible way - by creating a topic that stands out with its stupidity, like "What's better, Heroes or Warcraft?"
-The forum is still divided into two groups - those who are over 20 (this includes the administration and just good players), and, of course, the kids (those who are under 17), but among the kids, there are also their own leaders who try to "level up" in every way, and they become moderators.
And how could I forget! Our wonderful girls! Those who brighten up our forum with their presence, those who don't belong to any group, those who have a special status, those who are listened to even without thinking about the meaning of their words.
Don't you guys notice that nothing fundamentally new is happening? Everything is still the same as it was =(.
As for me, it's clear that I was kicked out... I don't really care. But don't you notice that everyone is leaving? The Heroes theme has simply run its course. I got all the information I wanted from the GAME itself in the first two weeks of being on this site (and so did everyone else). Have you noticed that only newcomers create topics about the game itself? And do you know that there are more posts in the "FLOOD" section than on the entire forum?
Come up with something new. Otherwise, it's just a swamp... I'm really sorry=((((
I understand that I'm guaranteed to be banned and I'll probably have a record number of dislikes=). But still, please don't delete this topic, let people read it... Dark, I don't know if you're reading this or not, but I don't think your thread will be deleted. And I agree with you on some points. There's not much new, but in my opinion, HeroesWorld is a special forum. Maybe the site was originally intended exclusively for "Heroes" fans, but now it's primarily a good place for fantasy lovers and others to communicate. And "Heroes" is now more like a foundation. Personally, I wouldn't trade this forum for any other!

The fact that there's not much being written in the sections about Heroes is understandable; many things have already been discussed (and I wouldn't be very interested in listening to discussions about which is better, Rampart or Tower). What's left are either tournaments, specific technical questions, In the Wake of Gods, or new ideas. It has indeed become something of a foundation for communication among fantasy lovers and beyond. Moreover, there's a completely unique atmosphere here!

To be honest, I'm on the forum because I have a clan here, several dozen friends, and sometimes I play Heroes... there's not much else interesting here...
The forum has become more of a place for entertainment for Heroes fans, like football fans – they don't always talk only about football... they also talk about who listens to what music, who wears what, who got drunk yesterday, who screwed whom over...
So, this isn't the forum you imagine it to be; everything eventually dies or is reborn...

I'm not denying that KLAN kandro was me. I logged in under that nickname a few times to see what had changed after I left (basically, like anyone who leaves the forum). But I definitely didn't log in for two weeks. Yesterday night, I decided to see what had improved... I realized that nothing had, and I wrote this topic.
I simply have nothing to lose.
And I will continue to write such critical topics until I am banned, because I am sure that many will agree with me. Many just don't want to ruin their reputation in the eyes of other forum members.

Mavr, why are you so worried? There aren't many major news updates, and what did you expect? If I earn 1000 rubles when the world is producing, then I'll spend 1000 rubles, and the same applies here. And if questions arise, why not answer them? There are many messages in the off-topic section because people want to know more about each other; we are a community (even if it's virtual). As for duplicate topics from newcomers, there are plenty of them everywhere, and as they are discovered, they are deleted or moved. You’re doing great, Dark – I’ve noticed that it’s gradually becoming less interesting in terms of information and aesthetics. But I doubt our administrators will be able to change everything drastically here. However, the forum is very good for communication – that’s what users are for, to make it more diverse. Every week, something new appears, which everyone discusses together. And besides, it’s just interesting to chat with people here – I can give many examples of when life is much more boring than here – there are just good people here – understanding and fun.

I simply have nothing to lose.

No matter how many forums I've been on, not one has escaped this problem—beginners create duplicate threads. Regardless of the forum's topic. It's fine, it passes. As they gain experience and get a couple of flicks on the nose from forum members who are angered by the 58th topic on the same subject, the person grows wiser and improves.:)
As for the administration—you are accusing them of slowness, aren't you? But keep in mind that they aren't paid a salary for moderating, and people have many things to do in the real world. I believe the moderators here work very promptly; there are forums where there is only one moderator for an entire section, and if they disappear for a week, it becomes a total madhouse in that section!

Well, those aren't facts at all, just emotions... Why "everyone"?! I don't create such threads. I don't create threads at all.:smile06:

Well, I doubt that a player's qualification depends on age. :smile30: Furthermore, I've noticed quite a few "children" here who have long since ceased to be children mentally... and funnily enough, this is most noticeable in the Flood section threads (which are often not flood>, but simply off-topic> regarding the forum's theme).
Essentially, what is wrong with moderating? Responsibility is a good school for a person. Moderators have more obligations than rights. And does anyone seriously believe that the ability to delete someone else's message is such a peak thrill? :confused:

Read the first post by DarkMavr... and realized... what this topic is about... didn't even bother reading the rest of the posts because I don't want to clutter my mind with this...
Firstly, what's with this pessimistic mood and attitude towards the forum...?
Secondly, everyone has the freedom to do as they please... thank goodness, on our forum, everyone can express themselves in any way they want...
Thirdly, everyone can communicate and express their thoughts within the rules of HW...
Fourthly, if you want something new, suggest it in the ideas section for development... there's no need to put all the responsibility on the organization...
Fifthly, there's a complaints section if something is wrong on the forum or if you're unhappy with the behavior of any member, you can complain... I have no doubt that the administration will make the right decision...
Sixthly, people come here to relax and have a good time, don't bother them with unnecessary restrictions (creating excessive rules... or constantly pointing out that they're doing or writing something stupid)...
Seventhly, everyone basically has their own circle of friends on the forum, people they can talk to... And if someone doesn't understand another forum member or isn't interested in them, then they don't need to communicate with them... otherwise, sometimes great arguments start... which go too far...

And most importantly, people who visit the forum have different skill levels in the game... some are just starting, some are strong in a particular version, and so on... and some are more interested in communicating than playing... Let there be both...

As long as there are people who play this game and communicate, the forum is alive... I doubt that people come here only for information... no, they come here for something more meaningful...
