In this thread you can generate new templates for Olden Era, as well as modify existing ones.
A new template will be automatically added to the thread with a preview and attachment.
The editor is experimental, and naturally, I couldn't test every possible use case: if you add up all the levers and values, you could test for eternity. So, when you find that something doesn't work or works incorrectly, write about it.
The preview only shows the structure and placement of zones; in-game maps will be different. To generate 1-to-1 previews, you'd need to know how the game engine is implemented. But even official templates differ from what the game ultimately produces, so I don't see the point in it.

⚠️ In editor versions 1.1.0 and 1.2.1, there was an issue with loading maps (it would only reach 90% and then nothing would happen); the issue was also still present in editor version 1.2.2 (but not in all templates)
✅ In editor version 1.2.3, this issue is not present in any of the templates in this thread as of July 7, 2026 (the templates that had the issue are patched, you can re-download them and they should work, tested on game version 0.80.33)
