It is safe to say that Valis is garbage and should be flushed down the toilet.

In a desperate attempt to boost Kilike’s spirit, Beata and Gillon subtly hint that in the Sunken City, one can try a non-living, real whale, and if you wash it down with tea, it will almost bring her spirit to the desired level! And then, you can simply eat in the Beauty, placing a bulk order for spirit, or top it up with crabs in the same Sunken City.

- So, there will be more reasons to visit, - Miko smiles and waves. - Bye-bye, Nadia-san. - Well, are you not tired yet? - Sonata asks as they exit onto the street. - Margel is quite large; spending half a day just moving around is normal. On this street, we only have two places left to visit, but we can do it fairly quickly. There's a philosophers' guild nearby - a rather interesting place; I recommend checking it out sometime when you have free time.

– Oh, well. That historian. When we meet him in hell, I’ll probably punch him in the face, – said the redhead. – And I was counting on him so much… And what about the surviving alien? He pretended to be dead, and it was like water off a duck’s back. Good question, what should we do with him now? He could go berserk again at any moment.

Klin returns home.

Although at first glance, the demigod had fallen, and his lifeless husk lay on the ground as a heap of metal, Alaria was in no hurry to lower her weapon. It could all be a trick – as soon as they turned their backs, the sword would come back to life and strike them from behind. But time passed, and Valis continued to lie there. Apparently, they had truly overcome the cursed sword. With a sigh of relief, the former inquisitor lowered her bow. They had overcome their opponent, but at a cost. The scars from its blows would remain with them, perhaps for the rest of their lives, however short they might be. A sign that toying with such forces ends badly. But also a sign of their victory over the celestial being – a reminder of a glorious triumph. Now, the main thing is to survive until their return, so that this story does not perish with them in the swamps. The girl did not fail to thank the fire element again in her thoughts, without which today's victory would have been impossible. – I must admit, – the Tanarrian's lips twisted into an unhappy smile, – it wasn't exactly the trial I expected from the islands of Kumari.

– Oh, well. Oh, that historian. When we meet him in hell, I'll probably punch him in the face, – the redhead remarked. – And I was counting on him so much... And what about the wounded alien? He pretended to be dead, and it was like water off a duck's back. A good question is, what to do with him now. He could go berserk again at any moment.

– I would suggest calling our new acquaintance, but I'm afraid she will have questions. As for Merel, – Alaria cast a disapproving glance at the place where the sorcerer had once stood, – I think "Carneol" should be more careful when selecting personnel. This is not the first time that a "promising recruit" has messed up all your plans.

A portal appears in the air, and a warrior unfamiliar to the surviving trio emerges from it.

- What a glorious battle! - she says, hovering in the air. - I heard that a tournament was being planned in my honor, but I didn't expect it to be like this! - For reasons known only to herself, the winged woman decided to remain silent, although she was well aware that this was no tournament. - Your battle reminded me of times long past. - Descending to the ground, she took Valis in one of her hands. - Don't worry, this thing won't harm anyone anymore. - She opened another portal in the air and threw the sword into it. - It will never escape from there. - Having dealt with this matter, she placed her hand on each of the warriors in turn, and then ascended into the sky again, opening another portal. - So, the three of you need to return to the empire?

- As life goes on, I find myself liking smaller towns more, but after so many years living in Rheims, big cities don't exhaust me at all. So, I still have plenty of energy. And as for the philosophers... what if they tear me apart for my alien views?

But in general, Valis was weak, although resilient, and he defeated Merel by using cheats.

If I ever lead an expedition, I'll definitely give you a weak opponent to fight later.

- It depends on the question and the views you express, - he shrugs. - They mainly discuss vital or philosophical topics, and those depend on your personal perspective, which allows for different opinions. Although, in your case, it might actually be unsafe. After all, as I said before, your name might be known to those it shouldn't be, and it's not recommended to put yourself at risk unnecessarily, - they say as they enter the guild.

Seriously, I was jumping around the room and shouting "Yay!" when I saw Revny's post about the fire buff.

If I ever lead an experience run, your character will only get different types of stockings as loot.

A. Pless can simply create a male champion.

A dwarf or a minotaur in stockings.
