— Why force people to engage in activities that their bodies may not be suited for? It's inefficient. It's better if everyone determines the most optimal fitness routine for themselves [mandatory spending of 1 Action Point on the sports complex].
This counter-proposal came from their neighbor, Cassia.

"Why force anyone to do anything if it won't bring any benefit?" thought Varya. "By the way, I would like to suggest that competitive sports should be only for those who want to participate, so that the rest can spend their time in a way that they think is best for their development." In "Vseznayka," Varya somehow buys "The Law of Balance" and reads it.

— Changing the curriculum is not allowed. Vari Levizia immediately rejected the idea.

Are we in America?

Let's ban Aliduma too, or are the lives of non-humans important?

Let's ban Pururut.

Are we in America?

In America, you wouldn't see such proposals... Although, you can understand the Native Americans.

- In dueling lessons, allow the loser, at their request, the opportunity for a rematch until they achieve the required number of wins (up to two).

“How about having a friendly duel every morning on weekdays?” suggested Ixora, sharing her ideas.

Vaylis continued to listen to the students' ideas and mentally comment on them.
- So, they've reached the point of suggesting battles. At this rate, they'll start proposing bets on duels, or even let the winner have the opportunity to... well, you know... - Vayl paused for a moment, lost in thought.

Nira thought about the suggestions from her fellow students.

—Ahem, Miss Starlight, I believe you've heard quite reasonable arguments stating that a well-developed middle class is the primary driver of the economy and innovation, isn't it? 😎 —she read from a textbook featuring an image of an Avaritian priestess. —Of course, absurd proposals regarding income distribution and global equality lack any rational basis, but the very fact of their emergence contains a grain of truth. Are you aware that currently, more than half of the students cannot afford even half of a meal at a city cafe in a month? According to my calculations, since the opening of the NAILS academy, the annual price increase in the Alma suburb has been three times higher than the expected national average, which is not surprising, but it clearly harms both students and ordinary residents. Nevertheless, this does not mean that we should let everything go to chance or stage a Dithling-style revolution here. Therefore, I propose one of the following options:
a) Annual indexation of student scholarships, say by 10~20 reaks to the base amount. This will allow students to keep up with rising prices until the market stabilizes at a new level;
b) Concluding an agreement with the trading shops of Alma and issuing student discount cards for 3~5% off goods and services within the city limits. This is a very popular system in many reputable educational institutions around the world, which will increase the purchasing power of students and the number of customers for merchants, not to mention the additional marketing advantage for us;
c) Introducing a minimum threshold for the scholarship amount, say 80~100 reaks;

— Nirochka, these are all very interesting ideas, but they go beyond the capabilities of the Academy, and to bring them to life, it will require the involvement of people and organizations from outside. You understand that in order to replenish the budget necessary to implement your proposals, you will first need to secure funding and the consent of local entrepreneurs, right? For this reason, these ideas cannot be used in the election campaign, however, the powers of the student council may well allow you to negotiate with merchants personally and in exactly the same way ask for an increase in the budget. In other words, this is another reason to take the matter seriously!

However, the student council's authority might allow you to negotiate with the merchants personally.

It won't help, as Gideon is the representative.

—So, it exceeds the budget's capabilities, right? 🤔 —Nira lowered her gaze to the notebook pages filled with calculations of student scholarships for two quarters.
Subtract the estimated expenses for foreign students, then take the number of students, add, and divide... Hmm, they are already saving eight hundred reek per month by accounting for students who have "left" their ranks! Not to mention that the average exam score, which determines the basic scholarship, has dropped by almost 11 points... Wait a minute, if the academy's budget was approved on an annual or even biennial basis, then all the savings from the killed, expelled, departed, or simply failed students are now going directly into someone's pockets...
—Ah ha, I understand you, Miss Starlight! 😉 Well, in that case, nothing can be done. 😞

corrupt power. I was actually thinking that maybe in the end we'll have to defeat all the professors and seize power in the Academy...

and you thought that all this time, while imagining the character's thoughts, I was just rambling about the headmistress?
