When the group finally headed to the local ruler to fulfill their mission, Kalentia assumed they would be greeted with a formal meeting, where conversations would be conducted in a businesslike manner. However, upon arrival, the girl was in for a surprise – first, Julius congratulated the students of Gungnir on their successes, then lamented his unrequited love for a long-deceased valkyrie, and towards the end of his speech, he even challenged the guests to a friendly duel. Apparently, the local people were no less eccentric than their neighbors from Baldur. However, the count's desire to test their skills in practice was a pleasant surprise for Kalentia – the man was clearly an experienced warrior, and he also shared a name with one of the greatest Artherian heroes who were not valkyries. Unfortunately, Julius either underestimated his opponents, and his bravado was cut short by a brief series of attacks from Air. It was a pity – the Argalian was interested in seeing his fighting style in action.

— Well, here is my "grand" appearance on the stage of your lives," the count said, rising from the floor and sighing heavily, "a complete failure! Oh well, I wanted to start with the finalists of the Tournament of Ten, but it seems it's not meant to be... Alright, tell me.
— I think that if we quickly take care of our duties, none of us will object to a rematch," the girl smiled in response to the ruler's regrets, "as for the reason for our visit..."
I introduce the members of our squad and explain why Gungnir sent us here.
Gulveig, who was preparing for another major competition, did not expect that Eir would defeat the ruler of these lands almost single-handedly. Apparently, she learned a lot from the tournaments, and the new saber also made the animist much stronger. However, there was no reason to complain; at least now they would be able to find out more about the origin of Yua.
— Here's how... It's not a definite fact, but it's quite possible that our goals overlap. Have you ever heard of the "Moon Princess"? In the past, that's what the organization of Mirai immigrants in Clematis was called, but after Princess Lucretia shut down their business – a bar, casino, mercenary activities, and so on – they had to start hiding. Today, it's an international criminal organization, whose main activity is human trafficking, and it so happens that it has taken root in my city. — The Count sighed heavily. — Unfortunately, there's not much I can do about it: some of my servants and assistants are likely bought, and I myself am too well-known to conduct an investigation personally.
— Here’s how it is... It’s not a definite fact, but it’s quite possible that our goals overlap. Have you ever heard of the “Moon Princess”? After listening to the Count’s story, Kalentia couldn’t help but remember the recent incident in the workshop – it was possible that the Mirai guest noticed by the Argalian could have been one of the members of the aforementioned organization. — So that’s how it is. Perhaps I even encountered one of the members of this organization earlier that day, — Kalentia admitted, describing the woman she had met. — Are we only required to conduct an investigation, or also to eliminate the presence of the “Moon Princess” from Tamfana afterwards? And do you have any leads that we should start with?
I haven't noticed any mention of the Seraphim faction having the unique ability to "ignore the upgraded version of the most overpowered Sylvan passive ability"...
After listening to the Count's story, Kalentia couldn't help but recall a recent incident in the workshop – it couldn't be ruled out that the visitor from Mirai, noticed by the argalian, might be one of the members of the aforementioned organization. “So that's how it is. Perhaps I even encountered one of the members of this organization earlier that day,” Kalentia admitted, describing the woman she had met. “Are we only required to conduct an investigation, or is the subsequent elimination of the ‘Moon Princess’ from Tamfana also required? And do you have any leads that we should start with?”
“As I said, despite its origins, the ‘Moon Princess’ is an international organization, and therefore its members can be representatives of any nationality. I am more than sure that there are residents of Tamfana among them, but I do not have any specific information. It is better, of course, not to take risks and eliminate their presence as soon as possible, otherwise there is a chance that they will hide and commit their evil deeds in a new place.”
– I apologize… I fully understand your extremely noble desire to solve your own problems using other people’s resources, but, considering the circumstances surrounding the appearance of the aforementioned girl, her connection to your criminal organization is, at best, unclear. You should think about some more concrete benefit for us than “maybe, if you help me, it might slightly – perhaps – bring you closer to your own goal.”
