When the group finally headed to the local ruler to fulfill their mission, Kalentia assumed they would be greeted with a formal meeting, where conversations would be conducted in a businesslike manner. However, upon arrival, the girl was in for a surprise – first, Julius congratulated the students of Gungnir on their successes, then lamented his unrequited love for a long-deceased valkyrie, and towards the end of his speech, he even challenged the guests to a friendly duel. Apparently, the local people were no less eccentric than their neighbors from Baldur. However, the count's desire to test their skills in practice was a pleasant surprise for Kalentia – the man was clearly an experienced warrior, and he also shared a name with one of the greatest Artherian heroes who were not valkyries. Unfortunately, Julius either underestimated his opponents, and his bravado was cut short by a brief series of attacks from Air. It was a pity – the Argalian was interested in seeing his fighting style in action.
