The Empire of Reimia (3) Auto-translated

One piece of news was more incredible than the last – Linnea couldn't find the words to describe the events of the past few months. Not only had Rinze decided to start a war less than six months after her coronation, but she had also allied herself with Usami Kyoko, who was known for her atrocities. One of those who contributed to the downfall of the very empire that the new empress wanted to "restore to its former glory." And that was just the beginning. In an attempt to distract herself from the gloomy thoughts, the girl decided to spend the weekend with her peers.
Imir's room.

On April 30, 845, Rintze Rheim will be shot dead in Rheims, which is under siege by allied forces.

/So, wasn't there strength training on the fourth week?!/
D? How is D possible? Just last week, Mia showed the worst result, and now she jumped up two places. It seemed incredible, but there was no time to relax – improving her stats further would be even more difficult. And she still hadn't figured out what to do with her intelligence and willpower... However, there were slightly different plans now.
It didn't work out last time, so this time Xenomia decided to visit the martial arts academy in Reims. Essentially, her first serious foray into the city.

A drawing from about two months ago.

The trio gathered in Iмир’s room, chatting about various things, preferring simple and light topics to serious and troubling ones. Then, during one such discussion, Shogo took a female student uniform from the Academy out of his bag, which he had acquired from an unknown source, and began trying to convince Iмир to try it on, in response to which the boy blushed and tried to refuse in every way possible. Perhaps, it was Linnea who held the balance of power in this entertaining clash of interests.

He might have some childhood trauma, like getting bitten by a dog behind the garage when he was a kid.

It's amazing how prophetic that post was...

Apart from the mediocre ending, it was an excellent novella.

Heading to Akeso.

The girls were sitting in Akeso and eating, each having something different, but the conversation was not flowing well, and there was a certain tension in the air. Eli quietly ate pudding, enjoying each bite, while Anelotta greedily devoured cake with a spoon, then pastries, and now a chocolate roll. One could only guess where it all fit and how it would affect her figure.

-Good day to you, my lady,” Parfynora greeted, sitting down at the table. “How about we enjoy some sweets together in an exclusively female company?

Shogo's idea was met with great enthusiasm by Linnea. She herself had often thought that the female form would suit Iмир very well. And the fact that someone among her peers shared these views was a very pleasant surprise for the girl. — Oh, come on, Iмир. I'm sure it would look great on you. Look at me – I didn't die from having to switch from pants to a skirt. And we're just asking you to try it on, not to wear it every day.

/Siv, I have a task for you: get Anelotte to talk about the latest weapon innovations./

No one objected. Parfinora joined Eli and Anelotte and ordered something for herself, but the awkward silence was not dispelled even by the appearance of a third person.
— A-a-a... — The silence was finally broken when Anelotte slammed her fist on the table, in which she was holding a fork. — I don't want to go to war!! — Then she, with tears in her eyes, continued to stuff her mouth with sweets.

Gengoro was in his usual place; he was standing leaning against a tree and reading something. — Ah, Lattro, hello. So, how are you doing? What do you think about the latest news, or are you not following it?

Last time it didn't work out, so this time Xenomia decided to visit the martial arts academy in Reims. Essentially, it was her first serious outing in the city.

At the martial arts academy, Xenomia had the opportunity to observe... Sweaty men and women. Their sparring looked spectacular, but the physical training... Was nothing compared to what she had to go through at the academy. One of the instructors suggested that Mia practice with them today.

Shogo's idea was met with great enthusiasm by Linnea. She herself had often thought that the female form would suit Ymir very well. And the fact that one of her peers shared these views was a very pleasant surprise for the girl.
— Oh, come on, Ymir. I'm sure it will suit you. Look at me — I didn't die from having to change from pants to a skirt. And we're just asking you to try it on, not to wear it every day.

— Well... Okay, — Ymir reluctantly agreed, but when he saw that the uniform also included women's underwear, he began to object again, — I still think this is all wrong...
— Relax, Ymir. Come on, we won't bother you, you can tell us when you're ready, we'll wait outside.
Shogo and Linnea go out the door and leave Ymir to change in his room. At this time, a guy unfamiliar to Linnea, Galmei, was walking down the corridor. Noticing Shogo, he headed straight for him.
— Shogo, good day to you. — After greeting his old friend, he turned his head towards Linnea and bowed slightly. — And to you too, sister.
— What are you doing here, Galmei?
— I'm looking for two of your classmates with whom I had an appointment... They didn't show up, so I started to worry that something bad might have happened to them.
— Ha-ha, didn't you think that if something bad happened to them, it was because of meeting you?
— Oh, Shogo, what are you saying... I have no ill intentions and only wish good things for those around me. By the way, I am immensely glad for the friendship that has been established between our country and the holy land of Ikigai. Have you thought about my proposal yet?
— No, unless your mentor wants to rub her huge chest in my face, I'm not interested in your cult.

No one objected. Parphinora joined Eli and Anelotte and ordered something for herself, but the awkward silence wasn't dispelled even with the arrival of the third person.
— A-a-a... — The silence was finally broken when Anelotte slammed her fist on the table, in which she was holding a fork. — I don't want to go to war!! — Then, with tears in her eyes, she continued to stuff her mouth with sweets.

Parphinora was very confused. First, because she didn't understand people who enrolled in a military academy but weren't prepared to participate in military operations. And second, because the first thing that came to her mind, an attempt to comfort and convince Anelotte that there wouldn't be a war, seemed absurd to her. The information about the alliance could only mean that a war awaited them in the future.
— It won't be that bad, Anelotte — Parphinora tried to say reassuringly — after all, I don't think the war will affect us much. First, no one will be able to stand against the power of the Triple Alliance, and any war will end quickly with our victory. Second, the graduates of the Reima Academy won't be thrown into the front lines — she was sure that they would only participate in well-planned operations with the highest level of success and minimal losses. Third, if we are all together, then I believe in our victory. With such wonderful engineers as Lathro and Light — at the mention of the latter's name, Parphinora involuntarily frowned — with such a wonderful archer as Emi — the aristocrat smiled at her — with such medics as Xenomia, and finally, under my leadership — I'm sure that nothing will happen to us, and we will still be eating delicious cakes and pastries in the same place after the war! — Parphinora added triumphant notes to her voice.

One of the mentors suggested that Mie practice with them today.

Xenomia seemed not to notice that the training at the Academy was not as intense as Mari's. Or she didn't want to notice it – but she was constantly writing in her notebook.
-- Yes, of course! I really want to learn more about the path you have chosen to become stronger.

The unfamiliar young man immediately seemed peculiar to Lin, and yet, she responded to his greeting with a slight nod. Only when Galmey continued the conversation and exchanged a few words with Shogo did the girl realize what was wrong with him.
—Galmey, right? It’s quite possible they simply changed their minds. While the girl shared Shogo’s view and even didn’t hide her smile when he responded to the cultist’s offer, she tried to phrase her words in a slightly more polite manner than he did. At least for now. —I’m sure that if they change their decision again, they will definitely visit you. So, it’s best not to bother and go back to your room. Who knows, maybe you passed them by, and they are waiting for you at the entrance to your room right now? It wouldn’t be nice to make them wait.
