The Empire of Reimia (3) Auto-translated

What about the chain of command, where I am the direct commander of the other units...

So you command detachments... but not each soldier individually; they have their own will:cool:

Most likely, our scenario will be as follows:

Xenomia had almost managed to convince herself that everything would be alright, and prayer, as well as sketching, somehow calmed the girl down. She could barely sit on the cot, and mostly lay down, sketching in her notebook. Then, suddenly, they brought a pale and barely alive Latro into the infirmary...
"The fighting hasn't even started yet, and one of my classmates almost died..." Panic was clearly visible on Xenomia's face. "I need to recover as soon as possible!"

Being among a group of patients, shocked by what was happening, by the fact that the Darklings turned out to be completely different from the noble knights that Mia had heard about, the girl hesitantly tugged at the sleeve of a nurse or orderly. "Excuse me... I've been receiving treatment for several days now... Maybe I can already handle a weapon? Or at least help with something else..." To be honest, Xenomia doubted that she could even stand on her own two feet, but she couldn't just lie here and do nothing in the middle of the fighting. She hoped that she could be assigned to at least take care of the wounded – if Xenomia herself wasn't contagious to them. Even if it would cause some complications in her illness, now was not the time to be gentle with herself. Well, probably...

“You’ll only get in the way,” Xenomii replied, after which they told him to lie down and recover.

"Yes, probably... If helping others makes things worse for me, then I definitely won't be able to help anyone..." – Miya turned away on her portable cot so that no one could see her tears.

The Parfinora company faced several tasks:
1. Eliminate or suppress enemy artillery fire.
2. Protect civilians.
3. Protect the sick.
4. Assist the main forces of the battalion.
5. Break through the encirclement.

Parfinora nodded to the officers gathered around her:
-Gentlemen, Kaori - she gave a special nod to the only other girl present - we have several tasks ahead of us. First of all, we need to protect our sick and civilian population. Lieutenant Ryuji's squad will be responsible for protecting civilians, and Kaori will be responsible for protecting the sick. Lieutenant Alabaster, your squad will assist the main forces - Parfinora smiled - your tank can withstand a blow and more than one, and strike back effectively. Lieutenant de Leer, your squad has the most dangerous task - neutralizing enemy artillery. I recommend that you fully utilize your tactical skills, as well as camouflage, to complete your mission. I will personally lead the operation to break through the troops from the encirclement. Any questions?

During the first few weeks in Illia, it seemed to Moriner that time had stopped forever in this town, and with it, all the inhabitants and soldiers stationed here. But then, almost overnight, as if trying to make up for lost time, events unfolded so rapidly that there was no chance to keep track of them.
An anxious awakening in the middle of the night, a hasty gathering, following the orders of the command – and suddenly, the young journalist finds himself outside the destroyed city, right under the merciless fire of enemy artillery. Taking out his notebook and writing supplies from his outer pocket, Moriner made a few hasty notes. It was very difficult to collect his thoughts in the current situation, but work is work, and everyone here has their own duties.
Over the past time, the command did not inform him of anything specific, and after the failed reconnaissance mission, it became too risky to go outside the city, but despite this, he tried to carefully record all the important events that needed to be reported. Finally, reaching the current timeline in the narrative, Moriner drew a long line in his notebook and put a question mark. Either in the next lines, he will describe the heroic deeds of a detachment that broke out of the enemy siege, and the entire empire will learn about the treachery and ruthlessness of the Dark Elves, or he will no longer care about it.

As if the despicable sabotage by the Darklings and Nea’s feeling of uselessness weren’t enough, things somehow got even worse than one could imagine. Disregarding the casualties among the civilian population, the soldiers of the former duchy not only razed Illith to the ground but also had no intention of letting anyone present leave alive. Next to Linnea, not only her battle companions were dying, but even those who were simply unlucky enough to be born in what seemed to be a quiet border town. But she was completely unable to help them, not even to stand up and take away at least a couple of Darkling soldiers. She could only, to the best of her ability, helplessly watch what was happening.

None of the officers had any questions about the received orders, and soon all units set out to complete the tasks assigned to them.

On this map, the first phase belongs to the third unit; the characters appear on the purple square and immediately take action. For new characters to appear, this square must be free.
Available information about the mission:
- The objective will be achieved when all enemies on this map are destroyed.
- The enemy has tanks and snipers at their disposal.

Light spawns first, in a pink tank. If he is immediately intercepted, let me know (and that the interception happened right after he appeared on the battlefield). Either way, he moves forward. Tell me if he sees anyone or if there is an interception. How many, from which sides, all the information we can know.

There won't be an immediate interception on the purple unit because it isn't moving at that moment.
