but the latter doesn't have any hidden drawbacks with inconvenient information
Not very clear what is meant. But the employer is good. The Hanging Gardens look interesting, but it's a very distant prospect. Looting Anumar... Well, formally, if Min joins you to loot him, there are no problems with him (not counting the guards). But in reality, it's small and pointless, and also risky. It's better to look at Anumar as a potential enemy if the squad will be helping the Sun Clan... After all, the snakes are immune to control, which is what the clan specializes in. So a conflict with the Sun Clan is more likely. And I would choose between the Sun and the Hand when it comes to recruiting from Hekkelia, yes.
But it's actually too small and pointless, and also risky.
It will also reflect poorly on your reputation, almost certainly.
It's not very clear what is meant.
It means "Do what you are told. Don't ask unnecessary questions. Don't try to find out anything you haven't been asked about. You should be concerned with successfully completing the task, not with what exactly we are doing and why."
/Yes, the praying mantis bonus with the stat increase is the coolest, by the way. And the snakes with two quests look promising in this regard. But... there are many aspects to consider. /
Revan, does combat strength somehow affect local quests? Will we be able to bring the entire group to these quests, or not? In the latter case, will the details be provided only upon arrival? Will the traveler's quest still be "lost" if we decide to take a local quest for two people from the Hand faction?
Where do we go? Where do we end up when we save the world?
I don't really like the reward amounts. Let's check Naliar.
Come on, Alex, explain to me what chances a bunch of mercenaries have against the Nihon (!), with their Bushido (!!), who will be fighting for the last cell, and therefore with all their might to the last drop of blood (!!!). I'm sure the reward will be generous, but dead men don't need money.
Where do we go? Where do we end up when we save the world?
Well, the Synthians... I mean, the snakes, they probably won't betray us. But, as I said, they pay little. And they're strange. And I don't really want to help the Mantis. But Shredder is just too strong. I'm not sure our group can handle him, especially if he has a support group. Our only hope is to paralyze Katavasia. So, it's scary to conflict with him. I don't like the Solar faction because their alliance with the Blood faction seems very fragile. Both the description of the clan itself and the effect of the Sinhai amulets imply that the leader is not the most reliable person. They might stab us in the back. The Blood faction pays very generously. It's possible that this is because they can't help any of the other two factions, which offer benefits in addition to gold. The quest will probably involve somehow taking advantage of the conflict between the clans or escalating it in some way. And then exploiting their weakness. But there might be something else too. There are definitely hidden dangers, like this "undesirable information." And I think Delhi could really mess things up for us. Overall, the quest seems quite dangerous.
