Reimian Empire Auto-translated

Kuratu liked the presentation overall, and Gaylardia Reimford in particular. But since he didn't have the money or anything else needed in such situations, and he really didn't like to waste his time, the former sailor went to the station to watch the trains and people coming and going, while reading a book by Sonata Reim.

So, he spends time there, and then closer to the evening (before it gets dark), he goes to the Ivory Tower and rents a room there for seven days.

Yes, he bought it.

Did you buy it for eternity? I think I missed it.

-- Yeah, maybe... I know it's good, a rare weapon, but what am I going to do with so much stuff? There's also this one, -- she pointed to the "trophy". -- But I won't sell it, it's a matter of honor.

The young man examined the visitor's katana. — I'll take it for 35 Rumies.

To clarify regarding books: the bonus can only be received once during the journey; in the afterlife, all books are sold in a single copy.

Seeing the contents of the pouch, Jerome quietly cursed. It was clearly not worth going to exchange the gold at the administration: in a few hours, the merchant would surely raise a fuss and alert the whole city. However, he still had some time, and in Old Calvade, hardly anyone would bother to investigate where he got the gold from. Having reasoned this way, Jerome wrapped his tattered cloak and headed to the "Doctor Dyce" store.
He hid the dragon talisman, planning to return for it later if the opportunity arose. The item was too conspicuous and unlikely to be particularly valuable compared to the gold.

The owner of the pharmacy greeted Jerome as he entered. — How can I help you? There are remedies for bodily ailments on display. — The man looked closely at the visitor. — ...Or perhaps you're looking for something to soothe your soul? I wouldn't recommend it... It's better to spend ten years on self-improvement through anima, reaching the limits of physical and spiritual perfection, than to pay for an implant that will be rejected by your body after a week!

Revan, am I correct in understanding that drug trafficking is not encouraged in the empire?
-- Goods for the soul, right? Interesting, very interesting, but first: do you have an antidote for harpy venom and something potent to treat choking fits?

It is prohibited.

-- Goods for the soul, right? Interesting, very interesting, but first: do you have an antidote for harpy poison and something potent for choking fits?

— Harpy poison? I can recommend Belen balm (500 rummies/4 times) or a specific antidote (200 rummies/1 time). The antidote cleanses the body of poisons, while the balm protects the body from infection. The former is more reliable. For choking, there is glaria (100 rummies/5 times), an infusion of delirious worm milk. It helps regardless of the disease, but it tastes awful and has strong side effects – including vomiting and diarrhea.

-- Aaa...
"It seems like I spent so much on food today? Even more, if you include the cocktail. And there are katanas here that are much worse, but they cost more."
-- Okay, fine. I'll buy a katana made of Nihon steel.
/ Another option would be to set up an arms depot in the hotel. / But I need to get a katana that deals 120 damage. /

– Is there anything that can help with diarrhea without any side effects? And also: I don't have any rupees right now. But I have a little gold left; would that be acceptable as payment?

— There are pills made from crushed onyx, but as a doctor, I cannot recommend them. Taking them can lead to defects in the gastrointestinal tract. Of course, not immediately, but after six months or a year, very unpleasant consequences may appear. I do take gold, yes, but I will need to examine it first.

Jerome silently handed the coin to the merchant.

— Eastern gold, hmm? Those will serve as the equivalent of one hundred and forty Rumian coins.
