Yeah, not the best cards left... Horned, pointy-eared, all sorts of non-humans. Oh well, never mind.

1. Let's go with Laura.
2. I like the regular version of the vampire more; I would definitely choose her, but a girl from the beach is better than a rabbit-unicorn.

Well, I agree, it would be strange if you liked them based on their appearance. A truly proactive nature.

They look like girls, Ney. Girls who resemble men look something like this:

And her face isn't exactly masculine; it's just a face that would suit a man as well, and perhaps even more so. Cynthia and Robin don't resemble men in any way, and they don't have any androgynous features (by the way, I understand it's a joke, but gay men generally don't resemble women even remotely, if my information is correct. Look at Stephen Fry). And even if some anime artists think otherwise...

In Japan, the beauty standards for men are generally different, and a feminine appearance is considered a plus. Not that it's a bad thing. And in general, shonen-ai characters usually conform to these standards. But here's the thing: this is a genre aimed at a female audience. The genre aimed at a male audience is called bara, and the main characters have a drastically different appearance.

What's so strange about that?

I would be very embarrassed if someone else had the exact same reaction to Azazel's appearance as I did.

But the context is completely different, and it only raises the question of whether you like the appearance or not.

There is no use for it on the artifact. It is mentioned in the description:
There's no use trying to beat a Sacrier disciple into submission - they like it too much! Nobody takes the motto ‘no pain, no gain’ more seriously than these warriors. Happy to haunt the front lines, ready to draw first blood, they’re the perfect allies for those long, relentless battles.
