Hello, what is the best way to defend against Hafiz on the "Art of Strategy" map? In week 2 (or early week 3), he arrives at my castle at level 14 with a stack of around 150 Gremlochs and 10 mages, split into 3-4 stacks, and he has 2 top-tier artifacts. If I try to break through his defenses, as he does, I lose too many units, and my army becomes ineffective. If I don't, Hafiz, at level 13-14, leaves no chance:smile35:
Hafiz is an imbalanced hero, so you need something equally imbalanced and without relying on machines. Vaishan should work well. With his swift creatures, he clears the map quite quickly. Ideally, he needs Death Chill from machines, but the Mirror can really mess things up with its Ice Bolt, and the Ring is only on the 3rd floor of the guild and only has a 33% chance of appearing. If he doesn't burn through the invisibility of the swift creatures with turrets, they should easily take down the gremlins. Something like that.
