Perhaps the best option would be to plant explosives at one location and then dig in at a place from which it would be easier to evacuate.

-I can plant explosives at half of the local facilities, heh-heh-heh, if only we aren't detected too early. Evacuating by air is practically useless; the only option is to escape by sea. But we can definitely reach the city itself via the airfield. Getting there is easier than getting out.
