The Empire of Arconidia.
A brief introduction to the history and structure of the country.The Empire of Arconidia is considered one of the oldest civilizations, founded more than a thousand years ago. The founder and first ruler was Arcond the Just, after whom the state was named. It is located on the southwestern continent, bordering another ancient state. In the past, conflicts and disputes arose between the countries over borderlands, but all of this is in the past, and friendly relations have now been established between the parties.
When the native continent was fully explored, Arconidia launched an expedition in search of new lands. Their attempt was successful when the ancient Arconidians set out north and landed on a continent that is now called Actea. They were not only successful in this, but also in the fact that the local climate was very favorable. It remains so to this day, making the lands of Arconidia very attractive to tourists. The colonists quickly settled in the new place, built forts, began to cultivate fields, and explore the territory. As it turned out, this land was already inhabited by local people who were less developed than the Arconidians and lived in tribal communities. These people also differed in appearance. If the Arconidians usually had fair skin, gray and honey-colored eyes, and brown or blond hair, then the local inhabitants were mostly fair-haired, with swarthy skin and green or blue eyes, and were also shorter in stature. This difference has persisted to this day, although to a lesser extent, as miscegenation is taking its toll. People with dark and red hair are found least often, mainly among the population living on the border with other states. The local inhabitants turned out to be peaceful, and thanks to this, the Arconidians were able to easily establish contact with them, securing mutual support. Over time, the Actean lands of Arconidia became so extensive that a decision was made to form a separate government in the territory of New Arconidia, and one of the emperor's children should govern these lands. This form of government has remained to this day.
The most important issues are discussed together, and problems are solved jointly, mainly concerning military, religious, scientific, and political matters, with rare exceptions (for example, only New Arconidia is part of the Actea Security Council, and therefore all agreements apply only to it). The rest is usually decided on a territorial basis, and therefore the laws in both parts of Arconidia may differ, but only slightly.
As for military power, the main part of the army is located in the territory of Old Arconidia, and in case of need, it can be transferred to the north. (the game statistics reflect only the state of affairs in New Arconidia; this applies to all figures, not just military power).
A separate point should be made about the centuries-old culture of Arconidia, which is very important for the state and which ordinary Arconidians are proud of. The government has always supported projects aimed at the cultural development and education of the population. Almost as important a role for the country is played by religion, which is adhered to by almost the entire population of the country. For every Arconidian, faith is an integral part of his life and worldview. In addition, special attention is paid to science, which has made Arconidia one of the most developed countries in scientific and technological terms. The empire also does not forget about healthcare, which, combined with a good environment and a healthy lifestyle, has helped to increase the average life expectancy. Most of the funding also goes to the real sector of the economy, specifically to the development of the agro-industrial sector, the fishing industry, and to a lesser extent, to technical production.
The emperor is assisted in governing the country by the supreme council, which includes the heads of all major ministries. Since in New Arconidia the duties of the head of state are performed by the emperor's son, he also has his own advisors who are responsible for the development of a particular area.
