I didn't understand what you meant by saying "Yes."

– Well, congratulations on your victory, – Agnet said unenthusiastically, laying down her spear and rising with some difficulty. She looked around and glanced at her fallen comrades. “Maria… even she wasn’t spared. But then, what else could one expect from sea pirates?”
– I’d like to know why you staged all this carnage and killed so many people? Just for money? – she asked the captain of the enemy ship.

- Just like wolves eat sheep, and sharks eat plankton. Why are you asking? Did you want to join my team?

– I don’t think so; I’m not a bandit, – Agnet remarked. “Although there was an opportunity to become one,” she added to herself, recalling her adventures with Saeros in Nevermore.
– And I’m asking because some of those your team killed were dear to me… – she added quietly.

Alv surrenders, gives me the captain's saber, Amos uses Veil + Levitation and hides from all enemies, searching for a place where he can hide so that no watchful individuals can spot him.

My sword, my trusted ally, unphased by my aspect.

Olam Havel

I didn't understand what you meant by your "Yes."

I give up too and repeat your actions; that's what I meant.

Whatever

– I ask because some of those your crew killed were dear to me… – she added quietly.

- Life is not easy. - Captain Belet shrugged and ordered the prisoners to be transferred to his ship. The Lebensrichter also moved everything of value they could find on the "Little Breeze," except for the supply of dynamite. They left it on the ship's deck, and when they sailed a short distance, Jeserith blew it up. The "Little Breeze" immediately went to the bottom, and a beautiful explosion marked the victory of the Lebensrichter and their captain.
After a while, Belet began to inspect his catch, but not the valuables, but the people. By this time, they were all standing, shackled in heavy chains on their hands and feet.
- This one will be useful on any ship, - he said, looking at Alva. - This one will do too. - Konrad still looked like a pirate, although he was no longer one.
- This one tried to sink our ship with lightning, - Jeserith said about Tarvicius. - He probably created that thing that shoots electricity.
- Is that so... - Captain Belet kicked the boy, and he fell overboard. The former Ataraxian immediately went to the bottom.
- A wise decision, - Bernhard watched Tarvicius drown approvingly. - It's dangerous to keep such people on board.
- I don't need hands to cast spells, - said the demon-born. - I offer you a deal: you let me and my friend safely reach the shore with you, and I won't sink your ship. I am a very powerful fire mage!
- Well... I will be honored to accompany you. - Belet bowed low, and at that moment, Jeserith, who was standing behind him, immediately shot Zian. Then he walked up to the body of the demon-born and crushed her head with his boot.
- I don't know if she's lying or not, but in any case, it's good that she didn't think of doing this earlier. - Sabina commented.
- You scoundrel! - Riza rushed at Captain Belet, but shackled in iron, she was incredibly clumsy, and the captain easily knocked her out.
- And you seem to be quite good, - Captain Belet said to Lucky Joe. - Two or even three of my guys died because of you. Don't you want to join my crew? - When he asked this question, he looked at the captive women and gave the same signal to his subordinates as when they unleash dogs. After that, they immediately pounced on the prisoners like animals: they were not at all concerned about the well-being of their victims, neither morally nor physically. They did not hesitate to take advantage of Riza, who was lying on the deck unconscious. And the demon-born was simply thrown into the ocean.
The expedition to the borders of the Void ended before it even began; its participants either died or fell into slavery.
Did Joe accept Captain Belet's offer? Did Amos safely reach the shore? Only history will tell, as well as the tragic fate of the other prisoners: brothels or hard, unpaid physical labor awaited them until the end of their days.

Bad End
