Guys, help me solve a problem... I downloaded and installed Heroes 5, I launch it, select a map, a castle, a hero, etc., click "start playing," and the loading process begins, but it doesn't reach halfway before the game crashes with a message saying the program has stopped working. Try setting compatibility mode. And I suspect that something is corrupted in the game files, or the system is messing things up...

Try installing a new version of DirectX http://d3dx9-dll.com/directx.html; this is often the reason for such a problem.

If you downloaded the torrent, it might be a corrupted torrent file, or the installer cache might have been lost during the download.
