Tournament Rules
1. The tournament takes place from 23.12.2012 to 08.01.2013 on the licensed version of King’s Bounty Crossworlds campaign: "Orcs' March" 1.3.1 (build 6170).
2. Tournament Goal: Maximize Amelie's characteristics (attack, defense, intelligence, leadership, and medals) on the island of Debir.
3. Results will be evaluated based on the following parameters:
- sum of primary characteristics attack, defense, intelligence including equipped artifacts (PH);
- leadership (L);
- medals. For each reward level: 0.5 points for each 1st degree order, 1 point for each 2nd degree order, and 1.5 points for each 3rd degree order (M).
Then the total result will be calculated using the following formula:
R = PH + L/200 + sum of M
Thus, game time is not involved in calculating the results. You choose for yourself what to prioritize and how to do it.
Example. Player Vasya Pupkin finished the game on Debir and sent a save with the following characteristics for Amelie:
- sum of primary characteristics: attack 5, defense 3, intelligence 4;
- leadership: 1302
- "Fire Mage" 2nd degree (1 point), "Trapper" 1st degree (0.5 points).
Then his result will be as follows:
R = (5+3+4) + (1302/200) + (1+0.5) = 20.01
4. The following are prohibited in the tournament:
- sailing to other islands;
- digging up and picking up chests during battle (digging up and picking up chests on the adventure map is allowed!);
- playing with installed mods;
- using any cheating programs that can change the game structure or starting save;
- restarting the game (you may only play from the starting save).
5. Instructions for saving and gameplay:
- Download the starting save orcs_Start_KB.7z and unpack it to ... My Documents\My Games\Kings Bounty Crossworlds\$save;
- launch "Crossworlds", load the "Orcs' March" campaign, and load the starting save;
- if a battle was conducted without losses, you must take a screenshot (Print Screen). Additionally, you must save every time, before and after each battle;
- after completing the game, make a final save with your nickname (for example, orcs_AlexSPl.sav) and send it to email address VDV_forever@bk.ru. In the letter, you must specify the subject Kings Bounty and preferably the website the player represents.
Note - you do not have to clear Debir completely; partial clearing is sufficient. The player decides this themselves. However, a save will not be considered if no battles were conducted at all. i.e., the starting save cannot be the final one :rolleyes: .
I wish everyone a pleasant New Year 2013! ;)
I invite everyone who wishes to take a short break from salads and drinks and dive back into their favorite game.:smile13:
P.S. Thanks to aristobal for the great help provided in preparing the tournament!
