I don't know, maybe I don't have enough Alberts (only 2), but I can't seem to make the standard Sword work anymore, even with the previous expansion. That Seraph, which Lock scared me about with Odin, surprisingly, still works much better. I don't play regularly now, but I can't remember when I lost to it... I think I lost once to a 1-star Sword.
My rank is low, of course.
In general, no, I don't think a mid-Sword with Alberts and officers can compete on a global scale.
