Nope - it won't disappear (possibly on the global map - since, besides the hero, there are a lot of models and other things consuming the video subsystem's resources... by the way, I saw somewhere that there is a patched .exe (I don't remember exactly where) to use a larger amount of RAM - maybe it won't "disappear" during movement), look at the example of Dugald based on Duncan, I added a lot of things to him there, but again, adding things is very tedious! :smile21:
Here, I didn't quite mean that! :) I know about this. I was thinking about something else... Well, for example, I added a new medallion, attached it to his neck, and there doesn't seem to be anything else to attach... It might disappear just while he's standing (without moving). He has an animated chest! He breathes! To make it clearer, I'll explain with an example. For example, I recently made Hafiz, he has a turban, and the "tail" of the turban hangs down his body... So, it disappears during breathing. The body textures simply absorb it... Of course, you can solve this by moving the object away from the body by some distance, but if you look at it from the side, there will be a gap between the body and the object. That is, the body will move closer to the object and back, leaving the object hanging in the air.
But again! All of this might not happen if a bone is used. There is no such problem with belts.
I suggest that the Honorable Goose also try to implement this! ;)

Damn... I decided to take another look at that mod that changes the appearance of the standard dwarves - the problem is that the models used for Rolf, Wulfstan, and Tolgar don't have a flag at all - they need to be redone. That is, the models of these three heroes were taken and re-colored according to the individual appearance of the hero (based on what is visible in the icon). The textures of the dwarves themselves are good, but there is no flag at all:(
Example - Ingvar
Yes... And there's no way to insert it. Like with Duncan. It simply doesn't exist in the model's geometry...
Although it could have been combined with Duncan if you remove his sword and add it as an effect. But here... his arms are lowered....
