I still remember playing against Neira, and since I didn't read the map descriptions, I even killed her Leonidas, reasoning that "it's unlikely that the end of the world will come after his death, and I can't stand having an extra unit on the board."

The most important thing is that Leonidas has very good stats, 9 attack, and in reality, there isn't much of a choice; you have to kill him. Unless, of course, you're absolutely sure you can handle it in the current situation. Or if you have a ban, then it's easier too. A bunch of mediocre, rushing summons are usually a lesser evil compared to "9 damage to the face right now."
