Actually, different situations can occur. I'm currently trying out a Monk in ranked play. Once, I got absolutely nothing (even though I have an amulet-focused Monk and a million amulets for 1-2 action points), and I barely managed to place a Sacred Play on the third turn. The opponent's Monk immediately left the game, haha. And I also remember one time when the opponent summoned Bahamut against me. The situation was: he had one health point, and I had a bunch of followers. The result: nothing really changed in the end.
