In my opinion, the most important thing for players is the world, the quality and quantity of content, and the atmosphere (although this is very individual), so it’s better to focus more on these aspects rather than on specific skill trees. In any case, I never paid much attention to them, whether it was a free choice of skill after unlocking a skill, as in the Necropolis expansion, or leveling up, as in other expansions. Here, the presence of certain skills is more important than anything else. Moreover, they all repeat anyway; sometimes something is added, removed, or combined, and that’s it, so there are no significant differences a priori. I don’t see the point in worrying so much about this. It’s better to spend all this time on the world, or on making it easier to calculate battles/etc., so that GMs have it easier, until the Shaman and Ment programs are ready.
