There's a mod on the Nival forum for version 2.0 that allows you to recruit heroes from the campaigns on any map. I'm just not sure if it works in other versions.

In the campaign, he always has them. And in a regular game, you can buy a hero of a different faction with archers at the beginning of the game and give them to Faidan. It would be great if there was a mage with a bunch of gremlins. Dugald with archers would also work.
As far as I remember, you need archers from the Sylvan faction...:rolleyes:
