So, is Miranda a serial killer?

Do you think that only Miranda, as a serial killer, could have committed the murder on the second night? That's a bit optimistic. Although, it does provide a motive.
But then we need to understand this: Am I correct in assuming that serial killer Miranda must have committed two murders? And that her own murder is more significant due to bypassing defenses. Then the question arises: why did she commit the first murder in a serial killer-like manner (followed by Bryce), but we don't see the second one. Did she decide not to draw attention to herself? Did she get caught up in something?
