A bit of nostalgia, an unpredictable map. I decided not to enlist Tantu, Tamika, or the stables as allies. Everything was going well; I was consistently ahead in stats and army size in the taverns. On day 135, I decided to clear the central treasure, where I was attacked by Arlash. Statistically, I was down by 10 in combat, not fatal, but there were 84 monarch units without any supporting units, and in one strike, they wiped out my 45 wyverns :confused:. When the opponent, after failing to finish off my 150 skeletons, didn't retreat, I hoped that he had shackles. Then magic won; an explosion for 4275 and raising 500+ skeletons left no chance. Although, if the attack had been without shackles, I would have surrendered after the opponent's retreat.
