I'm not sure about the nutritional value.
They contain iron, fats, and a huge amount of vitamins: A, D, E, and some B vitamins, although I don't remember exactly which ones. And protein, of course. By the way, vitamins break down quite a bit during heat treatment, in case you didn't know.Ment
And yes, I definitely wouldn't eat a raw store-bought egg. Time is our enemy in such situations.
Quail eggs don't carry salmonella, if that's what you're thinking. The problem is that they're small, and I personally don't have the patience for them.
