Expedition: general discussions.

Wouldn't you like to play an expedition with tanks, artillery, and trenches?

Last time, in such an expedition, we stopped at the point where our characters stood and watched a truck drive away with our objective into the beautiful distance.
Seriously, looking at modern wars, I don't really want to play something like that. Something a la World War II would be okay... World War I might be quite interesting.But modern ones? Oh, no, bombing some savages in the desert...
