Beatrice often argued with higher-ranking priests on this topic, but never managed to convince anyone, and eventually herself came under suspicion of heresy. Realizing that at this rate she would soon end up on the stake, Beatrice packed her things and asked the head of the temple for a blessing for a pilgrimage. The head saw the sincerity of the young priestess's faith, although he did not agree with her on everything, but he let her go on the journey peacefully.
Beatrice wandered around Erathia for a long time; not everywhere was she welcome, but she did not lose her kindness and compassion for those around her. Once she met a Darnian mage who had been robbed by bandits and left to die. It was then that the Kalevritan learned that her prayers could only heal humans, but she still did not abandon the one in need. The healed mage took the girl to travel with him, and during their travels he taught her everything he knew. But one day their paths diverged - the Darian decided to return home, and said goodbye, promising to tell his acquaintances that there are good people among the Kalevritans.
During further wanderings, Beatrice honed her magical skills, and thanks to her efforts, the reputation of Kalevritan priests among non-humans slightly increased. The girl no longer remembers how many she has healed over all this time, but among them were dwarves, orcs, ingi, shunians, and even some clumsy Teyosian woman, who, in gratitude, gave a couple of tips on seducing men ("you probably won't need it, but just in case, I'll tell you").
The journeys also brought Beatrice together with the "Crimson Dawn".
