Let me offer some armchair analysis: D
Why not exclude DE when organizing a tournament, but have each round played on a strictly defined map assigned by the organizers, and the lower bracket played on, say, maps from m200? This would eliminate weaker players who are not ready to *handle* something unconventional.
And the main advantage would be simultaneous turns in the classic mode.
