If we consider the previous CIS tournament, as a person without bad habits, I found it not very pleasant to be in the atmosphere that was there, namely: the room where the tournament was held was closed and not even ventilated, and it smelled of alcohol and cigarettes + drunken songs and other similar things...

In some ways, you are right about "bad habits," and both Merlin and I have already written our points for the future.

But you only imply negativity when you talk about "atmosphere"!

I, on the other hand, mean, and wrote above, about a good, friendly atmosphere, when old friends meet after a long period of time, are happy, communicate, joke, talk about how the year went, not in forum posts, but discuss the Game and other things in person! This kind of atmosphere is present at every CIS tournament, but you are fixated on Merlin's photos and "dirty socks" - yes, Merlin is like that, he showed all the undercurrents, not very pleasant moments, in my opinion. But there is much more positivity and good things, and that is what you should pay attention to first!

Initially, tournaments of this format were held in clubs, but then participants began to value comfort more, plus the "club atmosphere" is not very conducive for spectators. Regarding drunken people, this already depends solely on upbringing; some allow themselves alcohol in moderation, while others come to breakfast with a bottle of vodka... Every time I organize the Siberian Championship, I encounter such lovers of "drinking a couple of liters to celebrate," and because of this, I no longer want to hold live tournaments. Another option is to introduce a stop-list for some people and simply ban them from coming to tournaments.

But no, no, no, what's with the gloom!? We will work on this :-) at the last championship, I even stopped buying alcohol for the participants myself: we are correcting, working, becoming more cultured! :smile36: This time, I didn't go on the bus with everyone LOL :D progress!!!
We can't just give up on the Siberian Championship because of this misunderstanding. Napalm has already bought tickets!!! ;)
