For now, it seems only Adalika has resolved this issue (though it's not certain how things will unfold after the talisman disappears).
Funny coincidence, by the way. Luckily, my unplayable mood coincided with yours; otherwise, I would have missed all the interesting stuff and regretted it later. So, Adalika is also taking a break for a couple of days.
While I'm out, do you have any suggestions regarding the game?
But seriously, I was just thinking about this whole sea voyage. I mean, players have no incentive to sail there (except as illegal refugees from the city, lol), and, in turn, Locken has no particular reason to hire some criminal scum and unemployed people with children out of the goodness of his heart. Well, Adalika had a quest, okay, but now there's no quest, and the informant completely screwed her over and took the amulet. Essentially, the task is now invalid, as is what she (and most others) should do in the city – there's really nothing to do. That's why I couldn't come up with any interesting role-playing ideas, except to sit in a tavern waiting for new assignments from Suen or random events, or to renounce Suen and go on a journey with Zigzag (if he survives the arena), which would end the character's story. And then, I could create an Orinarian legionary and sail to colonize. That's the plan.
