And what about Heaven? It's the same: people with pitchforks, people with halberds, people with bows, people with crossbows, people with swords, people with maces, people with hammers, people on horses (people with spears).

I don't really like this either. Although, even in this case, the situation is better for humans (5 out of 7 levels in the Castle are humans. For dwarves, it's 6 out of 7. This is in the fifth game, of course, and in the seventh, the situation could have improved).

I already wrote my opinion about the elven troops in the seventh game on the official website: "It feels like only little girls and housewives voted for this race and this lineup."

The elves have the following problems:
1. Unsuccessful selection of units in the sets during the voting (it was necessary to hold a vote for specific types of units, not their sets)
2. Of all the sets, the voters chose the worst one
3. There was no second stage of voting (or I've already forgotten)
As a result, we got what we got. But, firstly, this became apparent only after the voters preferred High Elves to Dwarves. Secondly, it's not a fact that the situation wouldn't be even worse for the dwarves (I think it would be).

And having two elf-like races in the game is a bit too much.

But having several human-like races in the game isn't too much? Humans, mages, Necromancers? They all have small ears... Terrible uniformity. And if dwarves also had small ears, it would be a nightmare... In short, I don't think this is the right criterion.

Dwarves have left the Heroes series. In my opinion, they're gone for good.

Well, I don't know, it depends on the upcoming add-ons, if there will be any, of course.
