Any game is made with passion... in order to make money... It's just that whoever sponsors the project wants money, and whoever creates the game puts their heart into it...

One can partially agree with this statement. It's necessary for everything to be in harmony: both "someone putting their so-called soul into it" and making a profit. The game appeals to a large audience (including the respected visitors of this forum). It brings joy, and people have been playing it for many years. I personally love this game. For example, I don't like the 4th installment as much as Heroes 3. Therefore, this game has a so-called market. At the same time, only such professionals in their field, for whom it was close to their hearts (plot, style, graphics, etc.), could create such a game. We can only speculate (subjectively) about the goals of the creators of this project. To answer this question, one would need to know their gaming preferences personally. It is quite possible that they themselves like this game, or maybe not.

In any case, the game turned out to be excellent for fans of this genre. (IMHO)
