Online learning is questionable. There is a lack of motivation and social interaction. In my humble opinion, it is only suitable for various non-essential courses where the initiative comes from the students (they choose themselves). Although I cannot assert this, I have no facts, only assumptions.
As for solving the problem... We need to raise the prestige and salaries of teachers. We shouldn't combine many classes into one because of budget constraints, but rather divide them into more or less normal groups. We should teach children to think, not just memorize material, and build the curriculum accordingly. We should use fewer punishments and more rewards. Something like that.
