The difference from a wiki is that they are less formal, which means they are often more understandable. Although, of course, they still have that Lurk-specific style.

That's actually a good thing. Considering the trends of the last year, the ability to use Tor and VPN in Russia will soon be needed not only for reading Lurk. So, IMHO, it's better to start figuring out how to work with them now.
