Well, what did you expect? The manufacturers of "hardware" need to eat something, right?
On consoles, it's the opposite. One console lasts for 5-7 years, and you don't spend money on hardware, but the games are many times more expensive than on PC.
What about the release of the 7th installment? Is it playable yet?
I haven't gotten around to installing it yet... I only appreciated the figurine, artbook, and cards with postcards. The Special Edition and Town Edition have already disappointed me - only 8 pages of artwork each, compared to 14 for the "main" factions.
Started a campaign with the Academy.
I was very surprised by the lack of full animation in the cutscenes: everyone's mouths are either open or closed, and the facial expressions are static. Then it's not entirely clear which campaign goes in which order: 4 campaigns seem to follow the chronology, the rest have no dates and are all mixed up in the proposed campaign menu.
I chose Heroic difficulty: monsters are killed easily. The AI doesn't seem to have changed much: for example, if there is an obstacle on the battlefield near the neutral units or in their path (in a straight line), they somehow go behind the obstacle and wait for them to be killed there...
I'm stuck at the entrance to the tomb where the flower is: I need to solve some kind of puzzle.
