"Mirrors"

I bought the color and the hero, totaling 2100, I think. In the early game, I focused on maximizing my tempo with Oceanids, and Cassia leveled up well. I reached level 127 and settled in my opponent's capital. Then, I systematically captured strategically important cities, and took a Utopia-tier 3 dwelling on my opponent's territory (blue hat, bag of gold, boots of resistance). I cornered them, attacked, invested in Cyclops, and won. Thanks for the game!

Yeah. The situation was surprisingly good in terms of tempo for Cassia, and equally surprisingly terrible for Anya. All the guards were archers, and the objects were Zephyrs. Throughout the early game, I kept running into various Sea Wolves, retreating, spending a day somewhere, and then returning to barely break through, only to immediately encounter more Fanatics or Beholders.

But the most epic trolling from the generator came with the scrolls. I saw 5-9 Gray Dragons for a scroll and a refuge, and thought, "Oh, this is my salvation! Cassia will never break through them, but I can manage it at level 121." Then I calculated something, saw that there could easily be a level 5 creature, and decided not to rush to level 121. Then I tried to break through the blockades, realized that the tempo was bad anyway, and needed to retreat for the scroll. I didn't check the Gray Dragons, but if I had, I would have seen that there were exactly 6 of them, which gives exactly a 50% chance for a level 5 creature and control. I spent 2 days trying to break through, got the creature, and saw smiling trolls in the refuge...

Then, when my opponent reached level 127, I urgently retreated to another tier 3 dwelling in search of salvation. And I immediately found a candidate. The scroll for a horde of Mages was practically guaranteed control. I just needed to run around a little... Or not so little? Or a lot?? Or is there no way through at all??? In the end, around level 135, it turned out that there was no way through. Meanwhile, my opponent took a Utopia with a hat, and everything became definitively clear.
