SparkySweets, the map was thoroughly tested from start to finish, and there are definitely no critical errors. There might be some minor issues, but nothing major. What you experienced shouldn't happen. You can send me your save file, but I think the problem is more likely related to the specifics of your version (again, mods?). I'm playing on the original Tribes of the East (not the gold edition), with only patch 3.1 installed. The maximum save size I've reached is 10 megabytes, and there's still some room left :) (I had the same issue in World of Enroth).
Dyrman, I'm glad to see your first post without any critical problems. My computer is as old as Heroes 5, and it seems to handle it well.
Save files can be corrupted not only by the map size but also by TalkBox.
I haven't heard of this; I'd be glad to learn more. The map uses a custom-made dialogue engine, built as a wrapper around TalkBox. It's used extensively and hasn't caused any problems so far.
