By the way, I checked, you can take all the air units and level 1 fairies, and they will still shoot at the ballista.

That's why they think they're hitting elementals too; no matter how many you take, they'll just get splash damage near the ballista.

Then, even if you're not sure about the tactic, you'll definitely win.

I want to know how the experienced players do it.
1st turn damage (15-2)*6.5=85, 165 HP on the ballista
2nd turn -- (13-2-2)*6.5=59, 105
3rd turn -- (11-2-2)*6.5=46, 59
4th turn -- (9-2-2)*6.5=33, 26
5th turn -- (7-2-2)*6.5=20, 6
The 3 liches still have 6 shots left, and how do you deal with them? And why shoot the ballista at the lower tier units if you can't kill them with hands/ballista anyway?
