3) If a player withdraws from or is disqualified from the tournament, their slot is passed on to the next player in line who has already been eliminated from the tournament. Priority is given to those who progressed further, and if they are at the same distance, to those who played earlier.

Therefore, I recommend that you agree and play the next rounds before their official start. Currently, The_ is first in line for a replacement.

So, if someone from the "winners" bracket suddenly drops out in, say, the fifth round, will a player who was eliminated in the first round suddenly appear in their place???
Or will the player who was eliminated in the fourth round get a second chance, as they progressed further (based on what was written above)?
I don't understand the logic...
Or is there a difference between "withdrawal and disqualification" and the fact that a dozen of those who registered disappeared in the first round? Does that mean they didn't withdraw or get disqualified, and a replacement isn't required for them?
Then, in what case will a replacement be made?
And what is the point of these replacements?
Isn't this a bit unfair? Doesn't anyone else think so?
So, some play until they have 2 losses, while others play until they have 4?
Or does the player who comes in as a replacement have to win twice against their opponent, while the opponent only needs one win?

I'm very new here, and I want to understand the whole mechanism....
